Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara is the proud winner of several awards that include an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, she was appointed to the rank of an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first drew notice as an actor in the year 1974, as she was a part of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received the attention of critics both for her acting and writing skills, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022. She was joined by Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert and Tina Fey.
