Barbara Ann Corcoran
Barbara Ann Corcoran was born on March 10, 1949. She is an American investor and speaker as well as consultant. In 2001, she founded The Corcoran Group in New York City. The company was sold to the brokerage to NRT for $66 million. Then, shortly after she resigned from the company. Corcoran is one of ABC's initial Shark investors was a featured guest of every episode of Shark Tank. In February 2020 Corcoran was involved in 53 deals, with the biggest being a $350,000 investment that was able to cover 40% of Coverplay. Corcoran was the second of a family of 10 children, and was raised in Edgewater. Her mother, Florence, was a household worker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. was her father.
