 Barbara Ann Corcoran was born on March 10, 1949. She is an American investor and speaker as well as consultant. In 2001, she founded The Corcoran Group in New York City. The company was sold to the brokerage to NRT for $66 million. Then, shortly after she resigned from the company. She is the first female vice president and the most powerful female official in U.S. history, as also the first African American and first Asian American vice president. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as the attorney general for California from 2011 until 2017 and as an United States senator representing California between 2017 and 2021. Harris was born in Oakland, California, Harris graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
